Winter Blades?
I put Icons on my BMW, and they leave a big wide streak right in front of me. It's actually easier to drive without them. [:@]
They're brand new, and I tried exchanging them, but same problem. The only thing I can think of is the BMW windshield has some wacky curvature to it that the Icons are having trouble with. Anyone here ever experienced anything like that?

Icons have a piece of spring steel in them instead of hinges. A hinged wiper is only going to be worse. Do your wipers have build-up on them? Have you used them as ice scrapers at all?
That's one thing that I've learned with them is that you can't abuse them like a vinyl blade.

No build up whatsoever. They were doing this in the summer rains. It seems that the wiper blade lifts away from the glass in the center of the blade. If I get out and push down on the blade, it works great for about ten wipes, then it's streaking in the middle again.
rob, i had the same issue with some winter wipers on my 95 M3. i just went to standards in the winder and they worked better, the curve BMW has in the windshield makes it hard for teh stiffer blade to stay tight aginst it.
Rally, where in NH are you from? i'm about 30 minutes from dover, in wolfeboro not far from the lake.

widgget,
I love Wolfboro! the quite side of the lake.
My friend just built a house on the New Durham line.
When I retire I want to move to that area.
I live on near Kingeston lake off RT 125.
Rob_B,
Pick up a set of Trico or NAPA NeoForm's part # 60-2143....the local BMW dealer uses them so that should tell you something.
