Hi there I have a 2009 plate audi a4 and for the last few days it won't go into 6th gear. It shudders every time I try. I asked a guy I know about it and he said its a manual gearbox rather than a computer problem. And also it might cost a fortune to fix. Really concerned as every other gear is fine and I wondered if anyone else has experienced the same problem. Any advice much appreciated! Jill

 

I'm having this same problem now. After searching online, I'm hoping it's a shift linkage adjustment but I fear it's much worse & I may have to have my gearbox rebuilt.
What did the issue turn out to be for you?
