Yesterday i took off my Hks intake to clean it and where the o2 sensor is there is a thin piece of plastic insite the intake pipeing and a little part of it chipped of and when ever my o2 sensor is connected when i start the car the Check Engine Light is on and when starting the car revs up to .5 Rmp anout 3 times then 1.5 Rpms and returns to normal when i disconnect the sensor it starts fine but the light is still on what could this be anyone know1.5

 

By 02 sensor, you mean MAF sensor. I dont know how anything broke off, but your maf is dead. The best way to determine a bad MAF sensor is to unplug it and see if it runs ok, if it does, the maf is dead (if you have running issues with it plugged in). You dont want to run the engine for long with the maf disconnected because youll run really rich. Get whatever chips of anything that are in the ducting out asap because your turbo will take a crap if it sucks anything in like that.
Your 02 sensors are screwed into the catalytic converter btw.
and MAF sensor = mass airflow sensor or some call it an airflow meter.

 

Tahts what i ment sorry when it is pluged in it runs good but not at the beggining when its unpluged it runs and starts fine

 

yea sounds like a bad maf or some crazy boost leaks but my moneys on maf

 

he is 99.5 so he doesnt have a map sensor, if he unplugs his maf the car will run worse
