Ibought the car a few weeks ago. The previous owner put on some clear tail lights but the driver side light has a strange white cloud on the inside. I took off the light and opened it up to find a small hole cut/melted into the roof of the bulb housing. The white "cloud" is on the other side of this hole. Whatever it is is dried and does not scrape off easily. I suspect it's paint.No idea what the previous owner was thinking. Anyone ever heard of a reason to attempt such a thing?Couldit be something else?

I think you should just buy my tail lights (see sig) - no idea why anyone would want to paint the inside of the light - all I can think of is that it might have had a leak and this was an atempt to fix it???

 

Maybe he got a little bit too happy when he saw how awesome his car looked from the back...

I think a better question is what the hell was the previous owner thinking when he bought those taillights?!?[8D]
