So I am recently in the market for a car. First was thinking of getting a ~45-50k miles Golf GTI (2011-2013). But then I'm looking at an A5 (2008-2011) for almost the same price but with 80k+ miles. However, Im trying to limit my options on a manual transmission just because I trust it more on the long run.

Should I go for the A5 for a better quality car?? My budget for emergency repairs is limited. So I wanted to know what I should look out for with the A5 before buying or if there is any expensive repairs these cars commonly face. Thanks in advance for the help!!!
