Driver side mirror tilt on reverse
Need help please!!
I have an A5 Cabriolet - quattro and the mirrors stopped tilting when on reverse.
During the service dealer mentioned that both mirrors need to be removed and clean as there are debris (this came at a cost - thought the car is still under warrnty) .However, I have noticed that the driver’s mirror still does not tilt when reverse gear is selected. When queried from the dealer I was told "This is standard operation across the entire Audi range" Is that correct?
If my memory serves correct, both mirrors used to tilt in the past.

On my A5, only the passenger side tilts. This has been the same on the A8 and A7 that I owned previously.
