Default ECU Upgrade for A5 Cab

I just ordered an A5 cab quattro. Premium plus, tiptronic with sport package.
I am coming from a 2008 BMW 535i sport so I am looking to get a little more umph from the car. Can anyone recommend the best chip mod for the A5?

edit: another good reason to get the APR tune (near future smartphone integration): http://www.quattroworld.com/tunernew...smart-devices/

You'll also note APR lists their certified local installers. Give them a call as well. It typically only takes an hour or so of labor to install the firmware and test same.

The upcoming smartphone access is really going to be nice too!

Default ECU Upgrade

We took delivery of your exact same car all black. Funny, we came off of a BMW 335i Cab. I did a lot of homework, and just had the APR upgrade done two weeks ago. We only have 500 miles on it, so I have not pushed it too hard yet, but the difference is very noticable. In the sport mode it is faster, and much quicker to downshift on throttle, or up hills. It is only programmed for 91 octane gas currently, and will go to the 93 octane program after the 1,000 final break-in mileage. The car sounds better as well. On twisty roads it drives as well if not better than the 335.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware thee were diff programs you could use while driving the car. I thought it was just an install and that's it. I spoke to APR and will probably go with the stage ll and the turboback exhaust.
The dealer where I ordered the car is a certified APR installer so I plan on speaking to them as delivery gets closer. My main concern is reliability of the chip. I would love to hear from anyone who has had the chip for a while and if it has been reliable and not causing any issues with the car. As far as the handling, I felt and always felt the Audi steering is a little overboosted. My 535 with the sport package was I think the best feeling and handling car I have ever driven. And this is coming from a previous Carrera owner.
