Default Excess Deisel burn and Smoke

My car is an AUDI A4, B5,1.9 TDi, Year 2000, AJM engine EZP Gear Box Trip-tronic

At the smoke test I was told that the injectors are spitting extra Deisel and that is why the smoke.
I asked the agents, they say there is no way to tune the Injector nozells as thay are self adjusting.

Has anybody got any idea what I should do?

Well I did some checking and found that the EGR value is faulty.
This is the unit that connects to the waste gate.
Now I have hace disconnected the vacume line that goes in to the EGR valve and there is hardly any smoke. The car pulls well and the engine noice is also fine.
Agents over here says that this has to be replaces. The cost is about $300 if I get it from Singapre.
My mechanic who does repairs on his own says that lot of people disconnect this and can do without it.
I read some where that if the EGR valve is faulty it effects the Turbo unit over time.
Can somebody tell me how important this unit is.

well. your turbo unit is very important, if this breaks your car will have a slower pull away. the turbo gives your car power, i suggest you replace the egr, $300 for an egr might be expensive but its worth it, if your turbo goes you will be paying $$$$'s to replace it.
