Careful now. I want to like this A6 I've purchased, but in the 12 months I've owned it, I've spent more on repairs that I have on my last 5 Mustangs. Put it this way... I had to take the car cover off the Shelby and drive that to work yesterday when the A6 decided to start sputtering...

Wix makes good filters and I use them in most of my rigs. The high end NAPA filters are NAPA branded Wix filters. (It says so on the box!)

There are "lots" of sites that discuss oil filters on the web. More than you ever really want to know.

Use what you want but: "Friends do not let friends use Fram!" (At least Oil filters.)
