'01 A6 4.2 - Leaking coolant / misfiring?
I'm afraid to find out what may be wrong with the last toy my wife'll let me have.
I'm dropping coolant, at a rate of 1/4 gal every 30 miles, or two days. when I refill, it sounds as though it's dripping right from the reservoir onto the engine. It has also been idling very rough, with a flashing check engine light, until I'm up to speed. (10-15mph) About 3 months ago, it went into "limp" mode and acted as though it was overheated. Then I noticed the leak.
I'm hoping for any help!
