My 03 A6 Avant with the Xenon headlights has a problem with the lights pointing down. I am not getting any codes. The lights do not do the start up sequence when turned on. I have searched the forums for an answer, some of the info I have found is: if one of the sensors on the A arm fail a code will set. ( No codes) I have tried jacking the car and pushing on the bumper ( no affect on headlight position). Could this be the headlight control module? If so where is module located? Any other things I can try to diagnose?

How far down do your point? Mine point too far downward for my taste but the plastic brackets that shift the assembly are broken so adjustments don't do anything. This might be something to check, otherwise, maybe try manually adjusting them?
