1.8t manual gearbox on a6 2.7t

hi there

i have audi a6 2.7t with tip

and i have a4 1.8t manual 5 speed

can i swap the 1.8t transsmion on a6 ?

i use a6 just for fun not intersted in rpm .......

i have the 2 cars ?

Unless there is something wrong with your tip, I would not try it. First, I do not think they match up. Secondly, even the guys that do MT6 tranny swaps into A6 4.2s run into ECU issues because the ECU is programmed to talk to the tip, while the MT6 is "silent". Do a search on this and read up.
