Default 1995 A6 Reverse

Lights not working-HELP!
New light bulbs are in and still no joy!
Is it true ....its tied to tranny system?
All advice welcomed!!!

I'm not sure where back-up switch is located....

the switch is usually up under the brake pedal. Pull the driver side lower dash and get a flashlight up in there, should be pretty obvious when you see it.

I thought the C4 (hence his 1995) has a Multifunction Switch that is attached to the transmission and it incorporates the backup lights' function. I need to do some digging since I forgot this stuff from months back...

Check the tranny. It should be attached to it. If not, go inside the car and open the palstic which covers the shifter.
