I have a couple of other posts trying to determine what is wrong with my AC. Now the coolant light goes on - then off- looked at level - just below min put a little H2o in to see if the light goes off NO!!. wasn't over heating. But yesturday driving home from work (Phoenix 95 deg) stop to pick up my dry cleaning got back in my car turned it on temp was above normal. start driveing goes to normal. Today driving in to work slow traffic temp went up again little more speed turn heat all the way up opened the windows back to normal.

Long story even longer - thermostat???

very possible thermostat problem sticking it wont harm to change it and fill with new coolant

 

I know there are many posts on this but what coolant my manual says G011

 

go with what the manual says or just go to Audi/VW and get it there that way you cant go wrong
