have a 97 A6 wagon with around 110K. Check engine light came on, did a vag com and came up with:

Readiness: N/a

Any ideas? My wife said the light came on close to starting the car after sitting all day at work. THANKS!

 

Clear the codes and see if it comes back on.

A plugged fuel filter could also cause the engine to run lean. Which version of VAG-COM are you using? Why is "Readiness: N/a" ? You could have no codes, but not have the "monitors" ready.
