Hello there, I have a question.

I have a 1998 Audi A6 with the following stock radio in it:

I was wondering if I can plug and play the newer (concert II) into it:

The connections look the same but I want to be 100% sure...

NO! it will not work! ive already tried this and the lights do not work at night, and it does not turn on and off with the cars ignition.. and most of the time it wouldnt not work.. it doesnt work and i have a 99 a6

 

the plastic trim piece doesnt fit around it either because the corners of the symphony 2 stereo are more pointy (straight edged) so it doesnt fit.
