Hello so I have a 1998 Audi A6 I just bought the car a couple of weeks ago when I took it back to my garage I plugged it in to my scanner and it through a temperature control sensor and a transmission control module so I bought a new temperature sensor and replace that I pulled my transmission control module and it had writing on it that it was used from a junkyard so I ordered a brand-new one I placed it back into the car I thought that I could reset the ECU and the transmission control module all by taking the negative battery cable off and waiting 15 minutes before putting it back on well here's my problem I reset all of the codes and now when I go to put it into reverse or drive or any other lower gear the car automatically dies if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it I have been scratching my head at this from last week and a half The closest audi dealership is 300 miles from where I live not that big of a deal but I'd rather try to fix it myself before take it up to them thank you
