Default 2.7 t Giac chip

I am going to put a giac chip in my 2001 A6 2.7t. Should I put a forge dv or bov? I just want to get the best performance out of the engine. I don't want any problems like running to rich.

Any input is greatly appreciated thanks.

You will probably receive multiple differing opinions on this. I have been happy for over 100k miles with the DVs and TBB in my signature.

TBB means throttle body boot. Its the rubber piece attaching the intake pipes to the throttle body

Ok thanks, so in your opinion I should go with dvs and I would obviously need two for the Bi Turbo right?

Yes and yes. The stock DV's don't hold up too well with a chipped car. Plus, most aftermarket DV's are changeable with higher or lower tension springs, to get the best reaction out of them.
