2001 2.8 window motor
I just bought a 2001 2.8 and have had it back to the dealer twice to fix the drivers window (it slows down when closing and sometimes stops then re-opens). the first time they sprayed the weather striping w/ silicone...it still got stuck but now it was greasy and stuck, next they replaced the motor...it works a little better but doesn't always make it all the way up. Does anyone know what the problem might be so I can point them in the right direction?

Clearly not an Audi dealer you're going to... (if it is, it's a TERRIBLE one). The window guides wear out - fairly common problem. As these parts wear out, friction goes up. This triggers the pinch sensors which cause the window to retract. Replace the guides and you're good to go. Search the tech articles on www.audiworld.com for a DIY article on this.
