In specific, what cylinders are working, and what aren't working? Sounds like a fouled up ICM to me.

Whole right bank pass side not firing. Car was driving down road and started losing power and running rough. Hooked snap on Motis to it. Code p1338 and all cycl indeed r missing on pass side.

With entire bank 1 (cyl 1-2-3) not firing I would suspect Ignition Control Module (ICM) mounted on top of air filter box. There are 2, one for bank 1 & other for bank 2. They are the same part, so you can switch them. If misfires are then on bank 2 (4-5-6), you need new ICM.

Other possiblity is bad Cam position sensor on Bank 1, as that can also drive misfires on all bank 1 cylinders.

Both parts are relatively easy to get to & are not too expensive.

Switched ICUs and made no difference. Did a compression test and found about 20lbs of compression on 1,2 and 3 cycl. Trying to fig out why this would happen. Engine is in time.

I would recommend doing a leak down test if you know that there is significant loss of compression within that bank of cylinders just to confirm where the compression is going. Although rare on our cars, this could be a head gasket failure, or your intake or exhaust valves might be open and closing at the incorrect times.

Will do a leak down test. But wouldn't think bent valves or anything with engine being in time. Has anyone seen a head gasket blow without running hot. And is it possible to pull head without removing engine if it cones down to that.

You can pull the engine apart without having to remove it, though you will have to take the entire front of the car off in order to get that far.
