I have a 2002 audi a6 when i turn my key on it flashes all the numbers giving power to the display as usual but it also shows Fahrenheit and Celsius whitch i'm guessimg means that you can switch it to show the temputure someone please help me

 

It tells in your owners manual how to do this. You hit the air recirculation button and the + button the drivers side temperature control.

 

That is to change the on board computer from c to f I'm asking about the mirror display where the compass is

 

Rearview mirror is a compass only, not temperature. Changing the other temperature readings from F to celsius is simultaneously pushing the air recirculation button and the + button on the drivers side.

 

Them why does it show the symbols when you turn on your car look at pic for referance
