There are a couple coins stuck beneath the cig lighter part of the ash tray preventing it from closing. Im trying to figure out a way to take the whole ash tray out but nothing has worked so far.

I've searched arounded but no solutions seem to fit my '03 A6. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

You have to remove the radio and a/c control head to get it out. To get the radio out you need the special removal keys.

 

I have read these radios have an anti-theft code. So if you are going to remove it, make sure you have the code beforehand. Otherwise you'll be bribing a dealer to fix it.
