2003 A6 Avant rear centre seatbelt removal help?
Hi,
My dog has chewed the rear centre seatbelt. It needs to be replaced.
I have managed to remove the seat bench to undo the bolt to the car body, but cannot figure out how to take the whole seatbelt reel out of the backrest as it is situated inside the backrest. Do I have to remove the trim and dismantle the whole backrest to reach the reel? Help please. Many thanks.

Managed to pry off the trim near the top to reveal the anti-twist stop, but still need to pull trim back further to see the reel, but the headrest guide sleeves are holding the trim, preventing it to come off any further...
Do you need any special tool to release the headrest guide sleeves or can they be pulled out by using some kind of lever?
