Greetings Everyone,
Until my Bentley shows up and i continue to be a newb owner of my a4 avant got a question i am sure the old schoolers will know.
My license plate holder on the rear hatch is broken where the tabs that the screws go. How do i remove this panel? I assume I can buy a new one. Looked in ETKA but did not see the part listed.
Any help on this would be fantastic.

Mine is broken too. I just used 3M tape to hold my plate on lol. If there is any access to that plate, it'll be behind the carpet on the inside of the hatch. If you open the hatch, you'll be able to pull off the carpet. Be careful and go slowly, the plastic is brittle and the tabs that hold that panel on tend to pull out of the panel instead of the hatch.

 

do you happen to have a pic of what the trim looks like pulled off? Or a technique for doing so? I figured i would have to pry but don't want to break it in doing the job.
