Default 2003 Audi a6 3.0 Quattro check engine light code P0741, 704 and 705

Hey wassup guys alright so I've had my audi for about a month now and I took it to get serviced because the check engine light came on or well has been on. The mechanic told me about three codes. It's P0741, 704 and 705. I'm not very familiar with an audi or car in general so does anyone have an idea what this is? And also some suggestions to get fix it? The mechanic told me that I should pay to rebuild the whole transmission ???

Your mechanic is a moron, if he understood those codes you wouldn't be asking us.

In order to read the codes you need a vagcom. not half the codes with a generic scanner at the cheapest mechanic in town.

I suggest clearing the codes and seeing what comes back.
Let the car warm up before you go, and then list all of the new codes here.
again they must be read with a vag-com the generic readers can not access them all.

This car right off the bat will need over a thousand in parts. for the maintenance if it has over 90K on it. Did you get any maintenance records?
I put 3600 in parts alone into mine first year. forget about the labor.

You need to get your transmission looked at by somebody who knows what they're looking at.

Could be fine if the change feels ok and no slip.
