I have a 2003 A6 2.7 that is having a slight issue with coolant. A couple of days ago my warning light came on for low co0lant. Never seen the light before so I added some new coolant. seemed like the small resivour was empty. Added that and all was good. 2 days later that resivour was back down to empty. I have been smelling coolant inside the car for a couple of days now yet all my floor mats are dry. (I'm used to heater cores going out and the antifreeze soaking the carpet on the passenger side in other cars)

What can I check. I don't see any visible leaks. I have no puddles.. the car runs at about 220ish which is where it always has run.
