Yea if you want to reach those #'s that bad on the 2.7 you're gonna have to make a choice between your 2 cars. Getting to 300whp you'll also need to upgrade your fueling system as well. Looking at 600cc+ inj's, fuel pump, tip chip for sure like gigi said. You'll possibly need to upgrade your valvebody too. All this will set you at 400-450bhp and 300-325whp. Your engine will have to be properly tuned since the chip won't do. It aint cheap but definetely worth it. I think if you want a straight performance machine go all out on your supra and just chip your 2.7t as a nice fast cruising sedan.

A correctly installed APR or GIAC chip will not cause the service check light to go on.

I don't believe you'll get anywhere near 300WHP....But replacing these crappy intercoolers will reduce heatsoak after 60mph and get you close to your 1/4 mile run time

The only way to go is the chip. The Piggies, Bipipe, and Diverter valves (710n) will not get you there and IMHO the exhaust is not the way to go at all. Considering the chip and piggies will add about 70hp for under $1000, and the exhaust will run you over $1200 and only give you minimal gains. The DV's and Bipipe will add hp if your stock TBB and DV's are broken, but are mainly a preventitive measure. The Tip Chip from Vast will help shifting, and i think your car could rev higher than stock.

Shot Answer, pay only $600 or so and get the chip

(excuse the noob question) but what is the problem with the OEM intercoolers? what could be improved? do you recommend replacements?

The intercoolers are not very efficiant (obviously thats why you need an upgrade) The rs4 front mounted intercooler from AWE helps the turbos function at higher speed and increased temp, but correct me if I'm wrong, there is a little more turbo lag from a standstill, but it makes up for it later on in the run?

Yea i wouldnt go front mount, it would require trimming and more headaches. Just get side mounts from AWE like stated above. They both serve the same purpose
