My 1999 Avant just hit 230K today. Runs better than my family's 2001 S500 with half the miles. Knock on wood, but I have experienced no issues what so ever. That maybe due to the fact that the previous owner was a very wealthy lady in Los Gatos, Ca. I love the car, it's safe, powerful, and being a 22 year old college student, it is considered a fairly "socially acceptable" "wagon."

I love my car and will post pictures of later today, hopefully.

 

What color combo do you have?...if ya' don't mind me asking.

Only 230K? I'm closing in on 250K. My previous Audi went to over 350K so yours is just a baby.

Yeah they do...knock on wood, I feel lucky that the car has any issues. It will however, probably put on sale by the end of the summer since I am upgrading to a 2000+ A6 2.7T. I love my current car and the only thing that doesn't really lay well with me is the fact that it's an Avant...I'd prefer a sedan w/a manual trans. That's pretty much it though...great car.
