Default 99 C5 Pixel & ABS Computer Woes..Help

Just picked up a 99 Audi A6 with pixel issues and a bad ABS computer. I am a BMW guy so Audi is new to me.....What do you guys recommend for fixing both? Any write-ups on cluster removal and abs computer replacement.

Where do you guys send your clusters for repair?

Is the abs computer an easy fix?

Thanks

no easy fix for the LCD display, but it sounds like modulemaster.com could be your stop for both the abs and lcd display (currently out of stock, but they should be back in a week or two), some search terms to make your/my life easier: lcd display, maxidot, driver display. Cluster removal is really easy, if you actually plan on taking it apart let me/others know and we'll find ya the write up (it's in a bunch of places though).

Do you actually know what's wrong with the abs module? make sure to check the fuses that are associated with the module first. There is an awesome video and writeup on the modulemaster.com website on taking the abs out.

try giving these guys a call on the LCD as well;

Also for used ABS you might try Shokan.com, but if it is not super cheap I would just go with a new one, because the ABS is known to go out on those.

I would still advocate ModuleMaster.com because they don't use the cheap asian LCD (as you can obviously see from dna's pictures, it has terrible contrast). Just my $0.02.
