Default Pixel repair for dash display??

Hey Gang,

Has anyone attempted the DIY repair of the LCD screen? I've found some helpful sites, but when I tried, 3 times, I gained nothing.

http://www.nynexonline.co.uk/storage...lay_repair.php

Do I just give in to the fact that the screen is shot??

Thanks, steve

Did you actually replace the screen? or just try to repair it. From what I've read / heard when the pixels get bad (if that's your issue) you need to replace the LCD screen which requires soldering small connections.
