Hey guys, I have a pair of LEDs that are going to replace the burnt out license plate bulbs. Was just wondering what pre-cautions I need to take before I do anything? It's as simple as unscrewing that one little bolt for each cover, right?

I suppose I should wear latex gloves so I don't risk conducting any kind of static, right? The only reason I'm making this thread is because my Audi service adviser showed me an A6 that fried his fuses while trying to replace the license plate bulbs, so it got me a little worried.
