A6 3.0 Quattro the light goes on in the Dash

the light goes on in the Dash asking me how high i want them. what do i do?
When i start the car and put the car in drive the light goes on asking me how high or low do i want my lights to be. Is that normal? or something is wrong. and when i put the car in reverse it beeps sometime
