Okay so its been hot as h__ll here in Richmond VA and I have been getting a terrible noise from the Condenser Cooling Fan. Motor shot? Well removed fan and yes it was a little wobbly. Replacement time? Then I noticed there was a small metal pinch screw clip attached to one of the blades. Huh? Well its not like your everyday house ceiling fans where you can balance out with an extra weight so I removed it. Looked like it had been attached for quite some time. Ta Da! No wobbles, no noise! I still may have to replace it soon because I think just that tiny bit of weight on one blade wore down the bearing. Weird!
