Hi all.
I have just bought an A6 3.2fsi 2005 model. Can any body help with a problem please? The engine temp fluctuates and will not rise to what I think is normal unless standing still. The heater blowers will not blow hard, they have twice in 2 weeks after a trip down the motorway. Is there a sensor some where or is it the thermostat? This looks a mountain of a job to change so what could I try first?

Sounds to me like you may have a bad coolant temperature sender.
