Hello to all...2007 A6 3.2 w/116000 miles...here's the thing...mmi works for a few days then shuts off. Comes back on whenever it wants..usually a few days later..ran vcds and when it's working I get electrical OK and Optical OK..when it's not working the scan shows electrical OK but control head optical not OK...if I disconnect the negative battery cable the mmi will sometimes power back up...I checked my mmi version which is 2740...also..some mornings the battery is dead...quick jump and it starts right up...I was thinking maybe battery control module is bad ???
I hope someone has ideas on this..been driving my wife crazy. And she is driving me crazy. Thanks
