Default A6 Motion Sensor Problems...

OK, I have a 2000 A6 and when I park with the windows down the alarm goes off. I know about the B-Pillar button and even when I press that button which makes the little red light come on I still have the same problem. I have seen some posts that talk about hitting the button twice or holding it for two seconds. What's the real answer for a 2000? Press once, press twice, hold for two seconds, type out "disable" in morse code? I've had it with this alarm! Help!

Thanks,

Jeff

You can raise the sensitivity level with VAG-COM if you have one, or know someone who does. I agree it is a PITA.
