I was wondering that since the B5 S4 has the same motor as the 2.7T A6, can you have a stage III A6? I don't really know to much about the A6 and I would really really love a B5 S4 but as time goes on I feel that my chances of grabbing up a clean one are getting smaller and smaller. I was just thinking that the A6 could be a substitute for my need for the 2.7T twin turbo motor. I really hope this question doesn't offend anyone as I'm just looking for alil info. There is an A6 with a 2.7T. I would suggest getting one with a 6 speed manual. They are hard to find. And if your looking for the color you want, transmission you want, and the engine you want, it is going to be very difficult to find one. Especially with low miles. Good Luck Buddy. I found mine in NY two years ago. I flew up from Texas to pick it up. It is a black 2000 2.7T 6MT with manila interior with 50k miles. Yes, they are exactly the same engines and MOST of the upgrades work on both.

 

Google "stage 3 + Audi" and you'll find kits. Most of the pieces are the same, but some of the plumbing may be different because of the body. I guess with just a chip I am running stage 1 and may someday move to stage 3 with a K04 upgrade when, and if, my oem turbos fail. But she's still going strong at 148k miles.
