i have audi a6 avant (2002). i had just stopped to get gas. The radio was off. when I opened the door to get back in the radio dsiplay came on , but was blank. none of the radio buttons will work. After i turned off the car the radio display is still blank , but on.

I hoep it doesn;t drain the battery.

what is the problem and what can i do?

 

You need a new radio. Pull the radio fuse to reset the radio and prevent it from draining the battery.
