i'm having an issue with the stereo on my '07 A6 3.0.

it's got the Bose sound system. when i start my car and turn on the stereo, after a few seconds the sound cuts out for several seconds, and then it turns on again for awhile. the sound will then continue cycling on and off. sometimes, the MMI display cuts out and dims as well, but after awhile the display turns back on and stays on until shutdown. the sound won't stay on continuously though.

has anyone experienced anything like this?

does anyone have suggestions on how to diagnose and fix this issue?
