hey guys just got my A6 2.7t and i was looking into buying and instaling an alpine IVA-D 100 or 310 ...i know i would have to modify the dash a little bit but i wanted something that could control the two 12in alpine type R's i have (i already have the amp and the subs) i was just wondering if ne1 knew how extensive the modification would be and or if there were ne better in dash dvd/cd/mp3/the works that you guys would suggest thx

 

i have the IVA-D300 in my and it fits find, there is kit that most stereo shops should have that gives you an upper pocket. IMO there are no better screen than the alpine ones, (d-300 and up) i forgot.. heres a pic,...

 

Im in the same situation as AudiA6er, were would I go about getting this installed and how much will the installation run me also what kind of dash modifications do they make? pictures would be helpful thanks

 

installation would depend on the shop that did it. There should be no dash modifications, there are kits to make them fit correctly.
