4 out of my tail lightsare not working. any similar case??

 

Have you checked the fuses or to see if they are burned out? We can't give you to many answers to a question that vague. Which lights are out? Do they stay out when on the brakes?

 

If you are talking about the center stop light (3rd brake light), yes, it is common for those to go out. I replaced 5 of the 10 when I picked up my car last year from the used dealer in Chicago. They run a couple of bucks each from the dealer. All you need to do is to reach up from inside thetrunk, remove the little plastic panel that is right under the light, then remove the light "bar" from the retainer clip. Then use a heavy item (like a computer bag) to depress the brake light, and make note of which bulbs need to be replaced. Good luck!
