I'm leaving for PA at 12pm today, the first day I had my A6 the ABS and Traction Control lights on the dash were on, then they went off when I restarted the car, now they are on EVERY time I drive it and I'm freaking out there is no difference in the drive of the car BTW..somebody help, if its just a module or something not major let me know because if its bad and/or a potential hazard I'll take Our CTS instead

 

The lights are telling you that the TC and ABS are off so you need to remember that they are not working. I suspect you have a bad ABS module. There are a number of messages in this section that give easy instructions in where to get it repaired and simple DIY instructions.

 

PS People drove vehicles for years without TC and ABS, and there are lots of vehicles stillon the reaod without them.

Is your cel on? blinking?

one possible cause is a miscommunication out of your TCU, which will trhow a code yuo can get with a VAG. It might be sporadic and not an issue if the cell is not on.
Open your TCU box located uner the carpet in front of passenger seat.. look for humidity or bad connection to startwith...
Chipped? do yuo have a TIP chip? has anyone had to remove/disconnect the TCU?
