Default ac on the driver side

i have a 98 a6,the front left 2 ac vents are not blowing cold air as much as the passenger side front 2 vents.whats the problem

Awesome amount of information you gave us!
Do you own a vag com? Have you checked the fault codes in the A/C control head? Maybe faults like short to positive on A/C flap motor blah blah blah for instance?

no i dont own one,where can i get one of those and how much are they?

www.ross-tech.com its a software that downloads to your lap top, you just have to buy the cable to communicate with the car. Get the USB KEY+CAN download and buy the USB cable. Once you have it, there won't be much you can't diagnose. Just post the fault codes that you pull out the A/C electronics back in this thread or start a new one.
