Hello you lovely people.....

I have a problem regarding the Air Con on my 1995 A6.
My AC has quit....
When i hit the button on the console for AC, the symbol lights up and the secondary cooling/condenser fan starts up ok.....

But, there is no drop in rpm or no compressor sound... which was all ok before, plus theres no cooling from the AC anymore.

I have identified the clutch power supply and when the button is pressed, there is no power supplied to the clutch...

I have even identified the relay.... it seems ok...

Is there some black magic computer wizardry involved anywhere that might be responsible or are there any obvious commom failure points i need to look for.

Any help would be appreciated.

check fuse # 11 ( 30Amp ) on the board at the end of the dash that's the one to the AC clutch
