airbag module replacement

Default airbag module replacement

can you replace a airbag control module with an old one.
i had a dtc65535 code come up and my light is one thanks.
and also wat would the procedure be for reprogramming the othe module.

no you can not replace trhe module with a older one. In some cases the model #'s are same from year to year this is your best chance

you need the correct part you cant just stick any module in there and you cant program them they are factory set, its all down to how many airbags you have in the cabin early models only had a couple newer ones have many, if you can match the module to the same amount of airbags in each car then it might work but ensure the battery ground is off and you have any audio codes needed, then turn the ignition key on and reconnect the battery that way your out of harms way if the airbags blow out
