Alloys Question
Hi All,
Firstly, kudos to the admin/owner. This is a great forum/community - am glad I found it.
I have a bit of a n00b question about alloys - apologies in advance
. I have a 2007/57 A6 Avant 2.7TDI and am about to move to Germany and decided to take dearly beloved it with me.
However, I need to buy a 2nd set of alloys (winter tyres) and would like to get a 2nd set of original matching alloys.
Question: These are 17" std alloys with 225/50/R17 98Y tyres on them. Are these these alloys the same ones as I see on ebay that look identical that are marked "ET45?" Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help. Also if anyone has a set of 4 of these for sale in the South East please get in touch!

ET45 would be your offset. Take off one of your wheels and see if you can see what the offset is on your current wheels. It will be stamped somewhere on the inside of the wheel.
for buying wheels, especially aftermarket, you need to match the bolt pattern, get a compatible offset and obviously fit in the wheel well.
