Default Where is the Neutral safety switch ?

Ok so i am very confused, i have a 3.0L CVT Audi, I just got a call from the mechanic, and he told me that the Neutral safety switch or transmission range sensor is part of the TCM. If that is the case, I would be able to pull the TCM out myself, and replace the sensor. I dont want to waste my time, so if anyone does know please, tell me where i can find the Neutral safety switch?

Ok i just got off the phone with Audi, apparently the Neutral safety switch is integrated into the TCM for the CVT transmission. I have to replace the TCM, any recommendations where i can purchase one for as cheap as possible, or possible repair it?
