Little bit of haze on the headlights. What are you guys doing to clean this problem up short of replacing the units?

there is a standard process that consists of wet sanding and polishing...

I just recently restored mine. I started out ry sanding with 400 and 600grit, then wet sanded 800 to 2500 grit until almost all scratches where out. I then took a mothers buffing ball, and some plastic cleaner polisher to them.

Took me about 2 hours on each light, and they look great. they do not look brand new, but they are clear, and almost no scratches in them. I was very happy.

You can use a mild rubbing compound and a high-speed buffer, and it'll clear things up nicely. Be careful with the speed though - go too fast and the heat will burn the compound into the headlights forever.
