Hye guys, I'm looking to pick up a 2008 A6 3.2 quattro. New to audi therefore I need some help. Are there any recalls or certain problems I should be looking for when purchasing the 08 A6? Any information on helping me make a better purchase would be great. Thanks!

 

I also just bought a used 08 A6 3.2 back in December. Since these FSI motors are prone to carbon build up I'd recommend you do what I did. Negotiate as part of the purchase that they do a manual cleaning of the Intake manifold & Valves to clean up the carbon that's built up thus far. This way you'll start your experience with the car with squeaky clean valves. Check every button and light on the center MMI console by the shifter to ensure everything works and all of the lights light up properly. It's pretty common for a liquid spill on those buttons and it's about $1,200 for the dealer to replace the MMI control unit with a new one.
