Has anyone had their steering get very hard? Almost like the power steering isn't working. I have rebuilt the pump and it is OK. Bad rack? Looking for audi owners with similar experiences. Car has almost 200 K miles.

Thanks! Any possibility of a servotronic issue? Has anyone had this symptom with a bad rack? If I had a blocked line, wouldn't it be spitting up pentosin?

 

I'll bet it's your servotronic relay. I believe on the '95 the relay is under the hood in the relay box near the driver's side of the windshield base. You could just swap your relay with a known working one to see what happens.
